OK ok ill let the secret out Scrumpy, get yourself a lever off a late model triumph, ill take a pic and show yous,  matches the 916 lever in shape, if you want to be picky the 916 lever is solid anf the triumph one has two little nicks in it, if your that toasty then you can get aftermarket levers to match each side, me im not looks fine, mates up to the standard Lav Cable also, the adjuster is sort od far out, o if you were picky then the cable could be shortened by about 10 mm but mine works fine, ill post some pics in the morning, mines off a 2012 speed triple

I was about to suggest this - and yes there are plenty of aftermarket levers available. The nick in the levers works perfectly as I have found out, and that is when I also found out about the readily available a/m levers

Thanks!

I'm afraid that the engine mounts are in titanium too (as all the bolts and nuts)  :D

The switches, instrument and the electrical unit come from Motogadget.

Redax supplied the ignition/charging system combo.

There's not much I don't like about it.
Very nice, please keep the photos coming. Saves me going to my fav porn site  ;)

Hi Paul, I still have a LOT of work to try to catch up with your fantastic race bike!! ;)

Thanks for the replies on the clutch lever. I will investigate the Triumph option as I was considering using some of their switch gear.

JLO - hijack  :o no problem. I have checking out the moto  gadgets clocks as a result.

Me too Scrumpy, but the $ figure sent me packing! Sorry 'bout the hijack, sort of my fault.

Motogadget products are not cheap but really hi-quality and reliable. Great and neat design too, which was important for such a project. The representative is Drikko, a former member of this forum, he was very helpful in my experience. And it was fortunate as the first parcel with all the items had been 'lost' by someone at DHL.

That surprises me. I was looking on ebay last night and for ?30 you could pick up the RH handlebar, switchgear and throttle plus the cable which doesn't seem to expensive when compared to Lav parts.

Lucas Levers and Cable Vs breaking the cable at either end. You have to extent the Lever simply by devising a Nut Soldered on the Lever and end the throw at the bottom with an adjustable tube.

Suggest you Hang and Drip the Gables every 3 years with ATF.

By the way "Electical Heat Shrink" works great at reparing cable leaks.
