Advice please : want to sell my RGS1000

I'm running out of storage space, time and health sadly.
I've got a lovely A reg RGS, with some interesting extras.
What's the best place to list it?
Ebay seems to be full of time wasters these days.
I'd rather the old beastie found a proper home where it will be ridden.
Any advice please?

I shall take some photographs and post a full technical spec very soon then. I never thought I'd ever sell the red beastie but id much rather someone ride and enjoy it.

Selling often means dealing with 'tyre kickers', and time not so well spent. No matter the platform. Ebay has been fair to me when idiots try something foul. Here is a good place to start.

This forum and ILOC forum is an obvious thing to be doing. Forget Ebay and Facebook market places, but it is well worth putting a free ad up on carandclassic.com

Shame you have to sell it, John, but understand your reasoning.

Unfortunately, although I think they are great bike, don’t expect a mad rush of people wanting to buy it, so you will really have to work at why it’s a better buy than any other RGS being offered for sale.
 
Regarding: selling Laverda RGS, you can see in the ads that people are selling because they are getting older and can't handle the heavy machines, and Laverda RGS is a heavy machine approx. 254 kg, personally I also think that bikes over 200 kg weigh too much. Yes, exciting times are coming with the sale of the old machines, here in Denmark EVERYTHING has come to a standstill regarding the sale of older bikes, and prices are falling.
