air filter

I have a 1975 SF 2. I just got the parts I needed to fix the front end from Wolfgang. I have another question for the forum. This bike came to me quite complete, but with no air filters. The carbs are angled so I can't just put normal K & N's on it. does anyone know of filters that will fit? Cheers Brian

Why don't you put an original airbox on?

If I find one I would use it. Right now it doesn't have any air filters.

You can get aftermarket air filters with angled clamping rubbers. I much prefer to use the original airbox and intake boots and modify the airbox to accommodate pod filters. Tidy.

Have you posted a request on here, Brian? Otherwise, there's a few on ebay right now - the one linked to below even comes with the rubbers which have their own value. Ignore the silly asking prices, just make an offer.

Just check with the SF2 experts on here first. I see the GT and the SF boxes have different part numbers.

SF 1,2,3 have the same airbox. The one on ebay. I might still have a spare. Will look.
GT, S and SF fitted with the horizontal filter use another.
