Alpino 2nd serie gas tank

Eric, you can buy brand new Harris Matchless tanks that are a very close copy to the Monty tank. I think someone is still trying to sell one on UK ebay for approx £100, but he removed the mounting lugs at the front, so they will need welding back on. Otherwise I'm sure I saw one for sale on Subito recently.
 
Hi Guys, many thanks for the tips. I got in touch with Mr Pastorelli, he no longer has a tank avaliable.
I guess I might try the Harris tank option.

I had a good look at the G80 tank ,it still has the front lugs in place. My guess is the G80 tank would be in fact an Alpino tank ?

Only big question is......what can I fit as tank badges? I may try to have decals made to look like the original screw-in badges........same look but a smooth tank side.
