Alternator / no charge

Bike runs perfect when started but draining battery what current should I have coming from alternator to regulator and what from regultor to battery. the bike has not run for 15 years before now are both items likely to just die from non use

Thanks for quick response but think I might have found problem. Poor earth to the regulator I am now getting some power from reg to battery having put a new earth to the frame. for the record
RGS 1000 1983.
