Heres a link to a rideout I did at the weekend up to Exmoor and the North Devon coast with about 150 bikes,wet start, sunny pm and I finished The 2 stroke Kawasaki won best in show and is my mate Jerrys".both my bike and his bike were sprayed at Dave Addis" in Bromsgrove.

think I've still got 3 or 4 alternators (think I gave one to Keith, one became a door stop...) in the shed - I'll have a look next time I can reach the shed door.
it's the same part as a Z550.
Hmm, wonder if the rotors are the same, think I've a couple of Z rotors out there.
Actually, there's a thought - wonder if there's a modern equivalent that's lighter? Given that one of the wee Honda VFRs can be fitted with the rotor & stator from a later suzuki with a much lighter rotor. Losing half a kilo of rotating mass might be considered worthwhile
