Hi LAV-NUTS of the American Eagle 1969 era. Chasing photos of the original controls for brake and clutch perches please. Have new switchgear on order. Thanks Ralph (and Neil) the CENTRAL COAST, NSW Australia. Of course, if you have some where and how much. Thanks. Don't panic, lots of other parts on order from DAM and Wolfgang....

Hopefully these pics will show enough detail. Early bikes used Verlicci perches. 1st pic is clutch side which I took recently when I needed a new lever as it is bent and knob broken from end. Wolfgang mentioned at the time levers were designed for a smaller bike, not very robust and often broken and replaced by later Tomaselli items. 2nd pic is brake side, similar design - hopefully is clear enough. Needs a bit of hunting to find the original parts now. I had to replace the levers on my S recently after an accident.
Italy likely your best bet.

Rivets are expensive - no getting around it. What's a large early triple headlight worth?

By comparison I bought a pair of clipons for an earlyish R1 Yamaha for about US$100 - when they arrived they also had the clutch perch and lever complete, throttle and cables, handgrips and a Brembo radial master cylinder and lever complete. Not a rivet in sight on my bike - I can't afford them :ROFLMAO:

Not any more.
The bikes ain't worth much, nor are the parts.
I bought left and right levers including perches and choke lever for about that sum two month back.
I didn't discuss the price, because I needed the parts, and because I can afford it.

I sold a 200 Bosch headlight for triples last spring for hardly more than I'd paid for it.
A far cry from the €1200 I sold one for in less than 3 hours 5 years back.

It's game over.

$100 for a pair of Yamaha clipons! You're nuts.
