An Issue Fitting JB's Side Stand

The mounting holes to fit the rear brake master cylinder on the left hand side are visible on your shot.
Why go to all the bother of a crossover linkage just to keep the m/c on the right hand side?
Mine has right foot change and left rear brake, with the m/c on the left.
If using rearsets it is better with the adaptor plate between mount on the frame and the m/c, but it works fine with standard footpeg location and long alloy brake pedal.

because we did not have the correct rear master cylinder linkage plate for a left hand mounted master cylinder so we could not use the unused left side master cylinder mounting plate
they are different
plus it was only a temporary conversion at the time so Mark's one legged mate Bob could take Mark's Jota for a spin, gears had to be on the right side
just happens it is still on there that way, never bothered to finish it off, will do it one day when we finish mounting his IIS ignition control box

was a funny day, we did the conversion, Mark gets ready to go for a test ride, I impress on him, "remember, gears are on the right" about 10 times
he replies, no wucking forries, got that
he starts the Jota, pulls the clutch and then starts jabbing the left mounted brake lever trying to get 1st gear
cracked everyone up  :D

Thanks for the pictures Mark. So many ways to skin a cat! I must admit I feel a bit of a goose. Of course the rear set foot pedals can be taken apart and the levers put in any position. For some reason I had forgotten this and thought they were one cast piece. My excuse is that it is a dark Melbourne winter and the light not so good in my shed. :'(

So there are at least 2 configurations that will work without any further parts or metal bending while maintaining a LHS gear shift.
1. Spinning the cross over lever 180o around a vertical axis and locating the connecting link on the outside of the pedal lever &
2. Spinning the cross over lever 180o around a horizontal axis and locating the connecting link above the foot peg.
Brilliant 8)
