Another bargain bike?

nice bike, looks clean and a very good deal to me! 9.500BPD = 10.830€.

Not to far away from my asking price for the 1000 SFC (12997€ = 11.400 BPD), which has a complete engine rebuild and all original parts (except for the exhaust) coming with it, parts worth alone roughly 3.000€ ;)

Some of the Jap manufacturers are apparently going to launch some more retro style 70’s/80’s bikes at the Milan show, so if we wait long enough perhaps Piaggio will launch a retro style Laverda ‘super bike’ and suddenly all our old bikes will be in demand again. Or perhaps not……

Didnt they try that with a spectacular fail? If you're going to tug at the nostalgia heartstrings, do a tiny bit of research. I must have missed all those V-twin Jotas back in the day. Nice looking bikes, but really. The imbasiles already had the Moto GP Cube, a crazy fast holigan bike, and didnt notice the connection to previous triples hint, hint either. So dumb.

That was 2024. Not sure if its available or just a study or ...??

Do I detect the strong whiff of AI bullshit, hard to get past the no view of the engine or not spelling Jota right on the tank? Techno bable voice over with an Ozzie accent as well. At least I guess someone remembers Laverda and owns a computer. I wonder who did it.

well the V twin Aprilia badged Laverda was at least one real bike, probably scrapped, or converted to what it realy was, they asked the world to submit designs/styling, in a competition, and a lot did, then they took no notice and built a proto which no one wanted. At one time the water cooled triple was looking to be a goer, that did make sense, and a proto engine was displayed in Birmingham at the NEC bike show, it never came to anything but (I believe) that someone in Breganze had a couple of engine units and some parts and was "havine a play" not heard anything since..... anybody?
CLEM

Lothar wake up - this is AI generated!!!
Ciao, Gert
Thanks for the "heads-up", Gert, which could have been formulated a bit nicer. Especially as I wrote below it "Not sure if its available or just a study or ...??", which already indicated that I don't think it is an available product. Still I think it looks like a nice interpretation. And it is good, that at least some people think forward and not just backward when it comes to Laverda, right?

Nobody would buy an old BMW or a Ducati or produce parts if the new ones wouldn't keep the brand name in peoples minds...

It won't be long till THEY perfect AI, and other than the old TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, it will be impossible to tell the difference between it and reality. And that will be scary as hell.

That gate is open Vince, the horse bolted some time ago. It began with "alternative truth" news and now is visual.
