Yeh, everything pretty sodden around here (1m of rain over a few days will do that).Pretty wet up there
Golf course dried up enough to open Australia day so played in some sort of Aus day comp with 10am hit off.
Started off with some genteel sipping of cans of midstrength beer during the round to all out attack on various array of foreign drops afterwards. Ended up a touch wounded.... (Oh, foreign to my geographic location before you ask Paul

I once did 9 holes (90mm pvc pipe sticking out of the sand) on a sand coarse near the mouth of the Elliot River nth of Bowen
