I bought a similar unit, box says part number 4121, in around 1997/1998 to try to set the idle %CO on the Zane' twins where the technique is to adjust a trim screw on the ECU to achieve the desired %CO. It was useful for that but it's been sitting in its box on a shelf unused ever since.
