Been trying to contact keith to see about availability of kevlar clutch plates (red is depleted) but get no reply to a few email/calls -anybody know if he's still out and about?
thx!

Had him on the phone maybe a month ago. He was in the process of moving his workshop.
He has some Kevlar plates but doesn't recommend them unless you intend going drag racing.
Best call him around tea time when he takes a break.

Keith was getting his Kevlar clutch plates from me so no use asking him
my supplier has told me early 2023 he will have the material back in stock

way the war is going Ukraine believe they will have Russia done and dusted by then and so no need for more Kevlar
Bless them, Glory to Ukraine

Keith has just completed his move, he's clearing the new workshop of delayed bikes that needed finishing off and I'm expecting mine back "before the new year".
He always tells me he won't reply if he's nothing to say, but does when he has. I can usually get him on the phone after 10am.
I get the impression that he has a backlog of work scheduled!

Out of interest Greg, what"s he doing to it, don"t have to answer!

Nothing tragic Shaun, some intractable running issues that I couldn't get sorted even after I cleaned the tank & taps, re-built carbs, set valves, ignition and found a couple of wiring gremlins. Whilst Keith had it he went through the bike top to bottom (the good news was its a sound engine) and fitted some upgrades. I'll post a story for the benefit of others with the eventual soloutions once I have it back and have the full story from Keith.

Looking forwards to the story.
