Anyone recognise GOP 59W?

Hi folks,

I recently acquired a Laverda 500 twin in the UK registered GOP 59W but with no history (and no keys haha). Anyone recognise the bike from earlier times?

It’s not one I immediately recognise. Looks like it has been off the road for at least 10-12 years.

Yes that's what the tax disc says too. Appears to have had 10 owners before me, would love to know something about its history. Now have keys and NOS tank cap and battery. Head off next as it think it needs inspection

I'm chuffed with it having lusted after one since reading bike or superbike magazine when they were new and I was moped age. I also have a 1975 Suzuki but the quality of the Laverda engineering is leagues ahead
