Ist round of the Andreas Racing Assoc championship year and not the most auspicious start by me. Couldn't get the 750 race bike to start in the week so spent from Wednesday race preping my 650 Formula road bike. However, didn't do a good enough job so spent most of Saturday morning getting it through scrutineering rather than practising/quaylifying, which meant no racing for me in the afternoon. 
However, it did mean I had no real issues getting it through scrutineering Sunday so finally got out on the circuit for some practise. Unfortunately they were running the races in the opposite direction (clockwise) to Saturday, and I just don't seem to be able to click running this way round. Needless to say I ended up at the back of the grid for both of my classes - 700cc twins and the singles, twins and triples.
It being my first run out, other than a test day at the back end of last year, since me busting a rib or two I was definately off the pace, not that I expected to compete with the likes of 'Milky' Quayle's lad on a Ducati Panigale or Dave Moffat on his very rapid Supertwin - me and the bike are just too slow!
But at least I got a few race laps in which is what I need right now. Thoughts of winning can come later.....
