Had to have it at the time due to never seeing one in the flesh.
Not often for sale and even more uncommon in the UK.
It has been owned by 2 well known laverda specialists .
1 who refurbished it cosmetically.
No service history as it's an import.

for the UK
the term usually means ,
not imported through the official importer when new, or used.
and is usually taken to be a one off personal or trade import with registration either new or used, not neccessarrilly for the first time (ie it may have been registered previously in a different country) the term "import" was usually pre-fixed with the word "grey" to define it from an official import, as from the factories appointed importer, confusion arrises as the term "grey import" seems to have become abbreviated to just "import"
but you knew all that didn't you Marxy?

ps
I recently helped an owner (not revealing details) register a bike (still not revealing details) somwhere inside the United kingdom ( again no details) that he had owned long term, and during the course of this process I found that this bike was already registered, there was a very long silence on the phone when I told him of this, Slaters always registered bikes in the UK and only told DVLA the digits between the stars on the chassis number eg 1234, not LAV.454*1234* with "454" being whatever engine size the bike has so 650/668/750/1000/1200 which might have been OK in the 70's, 80's, 90's or not, I dont realy know, but now it has to be the full chassis number as printed ex Moto Laverda, so the computer sees this as two different bikes, ie 1234 and LAV.454*1234* which make one wonder a lot about the answer to the question WHY?
