Atlas Owns Manual and Parts Book

People say WWW posts last forever, but not in my experience. I was looking for a part number today and discovered the link sent to me from one of The Dutch Laverda Club blokes with the above 2 documents has disappeared. So I then tried the Atlas Owners site, and that's disappeared as well. Thankfully I still have these docs that Gert sent me a while back. The problem is that's been cropped a bit on the left side so is missing some info. I tried sending Rob that Dutch link when I got it hoping it would get transferred into the Libery here but there was some proprietary issue with that so it didn't happen. Anyway, all that drivel I just wrote was to hopefully attempt to get those doc logged here in the Library. Does anyone here have contact details for the Atlas Sites owner, there was some great info in their Tips and Tricks section that would be great to get assess to. Maybe he might send it here to the Library. I tried every link there after joining that site but never got anywhere near a human.

I just scrolled down the Atlas Owners Website and it's down because it's been inactive for a year and they cannot contact the owner. If anyone knows the bloke can you see if he wants to keep it up or pass the info on so it doesn't get lost forever? That would be a real shame.

I tried emailing Frank the Atlas Owners Website bloke 3 days ago and it bounced a few times and finally was undeliverable today. As I said earlier it would be a real shame if some of that site data just disappeared. If anybody knows Frank personally it would be great if something could be done to try and record that valuable info so it could be assessed somehow.

Again, did you try to find it on the Wayback Machine? If it is the Laverda Atlas Owners Registry that you are looking for, it was saved once in 2021. However the page is from 2019. I was able to access much of the site, but you know what you need and will have a better idea of what is there and is still useful.

Nope, no idea what this time machine you speak of is. Well, I have heard of it but have no clue how to use it. The 2 sections of info from that site that were really helpful are the Tips and Tricks Section, and the Forum questions and Answers, the latter isn't very big as they didn't get huge traffic. I have also no idea about legal stuff but if those 2 sections could be transferred to the Library here that would be fantastic. Having the owner's email address bounce and the note from the server people on that site saying no contact for a year is a bit of a worry and doesn't bode well for this.
