Back rack for a 1974 1000 3c

can anyone recommend a back rack? I already have one that I thought was an original but the fittings seem too wide

Those will bolt in.
Attach both sides loosely and then tighten up on both sides.
Be aware tht you must shim the bottom shock mount out to match the thickness of the carrier plate. Otherwise the shock will be at an angle.

Adding a flat bar, 30mm x 3mm down to the pillion pegs might be ugly but it adds bucket loads of extra structure and reduces any flex. Movement when loaded will produce cracking. Guess how I know.
