Hi,
I've been faffing around with this bike for years. Retirement and the need to move is giving me the kick up my arse to finish all the work I've been doin but not finishing off.
The current to finish off is the wiring. I have upgraded to new wiring loom, a set of Dyno Coils and a Sachse Ignition system.
My question is do I still need Ballast Resistors ?
My logic is yes as they will still need to perform the protection to the coils and ignition system. But the wiring diagram supplied with the ignition system doesn't show any ballast resistors.
Please someone with greater knowledge clear this up for me or point me in the correct direction.
Regards from a warm dry sunny Western Scotland.
Kim.
