Battery Tender Connection

I have a pigtail battery tender connection on my Atlas and no power in my shed to have it constantly connected but I would like to use it on the odd occasion if the battery needs to be charged without stripping half the bike to bits to get at the actual battery. I don't have a tender, just a typical spring clip battery charger, I don't want to buy a tender as well. Does anyone make an adaptor to connect the typical battery charger spring clips to that tender-type plug? Did a web search and found nothing.

Whatever you do Vince, have close to the battery as practicable as possible, a fault current limiter, ie fuse or DC rated circuit breaker, connection to the external charger device. Limit the battery doing fire prone discharge into the charger or wiring going to frame. HTH j.

The plug that is attached to the battery and pokes out for easy access that has an inline fuse is a rectangular white 2-pin plug approx 10mm x 5mm. It looks like a quality made gadget, I had a quick look and none of the now available trickel charges has a similar plug. What's pretty dumb is it was no fail-safe positive to positive orientation that I can see, you can reverse it easily. I found these blokes last night and will try them and the usual suspects after the long weekend. I have a really good Intelligent 7-stage charger with alligator clips so I will see what I can find.

Hey Vince that there is a fairly universal plug like I bet ya Jaycar or rip ever poor cxxx off would have one of them suckers for sure.

Look just a thought as you have no power in ya shed ever thought of a solar charger, they are the ducks guts ..hmm now look just thinking about it here is a rippa idea, bloody hell why did I not think of it before, tell me have ya ever thought of putting one on top of the tower that way you could use solar to charge the battery in your ode cologne so then it wont go flat half way through one of those super long day rides we seem to do… even if they are sometimes at insane speeds trust me it will still work
But hey what would I know right

Look If ya really stuck for a connector give me a holler and will bring ya all one at the club rego day unless am in PRC that is hmm 🤔
But just a thought can you perhaps give me some accurate measurements as 10mm is a guess right, am thinking its more like 3/8 to a 1/4 no wonder ya all struggle with that metric crap grab a set of very nears and give us some real world figures to work with will ya.
Now where is my glass 🥃 🥃 🥃 🥃 🥃 🥃 🥃 ☘️ that is …🤯😜😛
