Took the Jota to the 30th Beezumph rally in Anglesey this weekend. First time to this event despite owning a BSA Rocket 3 (and have owned all the other variants at some point).
Very friendly, lovely track and I got to sit on a friend's ex Tony Jefferies works Rob North Trident, a bit like sitting in a ww2 fighter!
Everyone said how low the attendance was compared to previous years, it was second only to British Superbikes when it was at Cadwell apparently!
Anyway, lots of kind comments about the Laverda and a few good stories from ex owners.
They (The Trident and Rocket 3 owners club) welcome all bikes and have track sessions for beginners, classics, classic racers and moderns I had a great time on the track despite the propensity for fasteners and electrical connections to loosen that never gave trouble on the road. Must be something to do with that 7500rpm shift light that kept coming on!
I also got a go on an SF round the car park so if the owner is on this forum please get in touch to arrange that commando swap?
