He may be organising through the Vic club, you know he likes to keep his fingers in as many pies as he can. ;)
 
October is a long way off fellas.............as long as we can encourage as many Lav owners in Aus to make the trek,
And Bruce has an ample supply of floaties........all will be well.:ROFLMAO::cool:

Would be great to catch up with the N.S.Welshman along the way, as we did in 2014 !

Don't mention the river or the war, last time I was there it was a trickle thankfully. BTW To anyone who had an engine stop mid deep crossing years ago, there is a trick, make sure you don't have long carb breather hoses danging down below your bike underwater. Submerge them for long enough and the carbs stop working. So don't stop mid crossing for any length of time, once in keep moving.
 
I have been working on the causeway chaps. Currently about 100mm deep and very well compacted. I rode my Jota through a week or so ago and my boots remained totally dry.

Nice one Bruce......Serge will be having some sleepless nights knowing his previous form! I think we may have to blow up some tractor tyre tubes and float him across.......🤣 All good mate, Geez we sure are lookin forward to the trip up👍

Box Culvert would be the go and could be done at a reasonable price, BUT then the local Council gets involved and the price and bullshit just escallates beyond belief. This is from a council that are happy to push any fallen trees, rock and landslides etc straight into the river
 
Oh yeah. I forgot about the Council.

Municipal Councils have come up with all sorts of innovative ways to make life difficult while extracting as much cash from you as possible. I try to avoid any interaction with the buggers too. I remember what a pain in the arse it was just to get my shed built. That was nearly 20 years ago and they're a whole lot worse now.

All the work I've done to my house over the years is invisible from the outside, except for a skylight and bathroom vent that nobody in authority seems to have noticed. The Council knows nothing about structural changes carried out while re-arranging the kitchen and bathroom.
