Now if you think this is difficult for CLNSW members, just imagine what it is like on a club run, or the annual Rally !
Stop for food and coffee... do YOU have food and coffee on board
Stop for fuel.... have YOU refueled
No, you didn't book a single room....
Turn right, left, engage in a spot of circular navigation......

All part of the great joy of being a club member - and YEP, I do mean it. It is a joy to be surrounded by like minded older age men with a couple of youngies thrown in who just luv their LAVs.
Bring on Bello !!!

Just noticed these Oxley Rd closers, looks like we are ok but it might affect some heading that way.

For those who cannot open this, its road closer dates mostly mid-week just before and after the Belo weekend. That's a huge detour if you get stuck, maybe 500ks for some.

I just had a look at Live Traffic, Waterfall Way copped a battering in the weather, it's open for Saturday to Bellengin but there are 2 or 3 contraflows with traffic lights and 40k work zones, The Putty has one of those as well. BTW it's a Double Demerits long weekend in NSW so WATCH out, might not affect those with interstate licenses, it's double points for speeding, not double fines. They talk up sending offences to other state authorities but that gets missed out A LOT. On one trip for a rally, a couple of the NSW blokes had an issue heading to Dorrigo. They will be out and about actively hunting you can bet.

Here is a little story from a past rally trip, we were heading to Dorigo after a great night in Urala with the Canberra and Victorian bunches on another Double Demerits weekend and said ride was getting fruity. More than one Laverda and it's a race. Somehow there are a couple of hard chargers probably more than a few behind me and I am at Maximum freakout mode considering the speed that's happening and the consequences of being seen at said speed. Waterfall Way Rd has incredible scenery running through undulating hills of stunning pasture country and at the bottom of these glades were running steams, incredibly rare to see small running creeks everywhere up there. So much water hardly ever happens in my experiences around a dry Oz. But the lurking horror was every 10ks or so you would see tourists parked up checking out the sights usually they would be driving either white sedans or small white 4 wheels drives, the usual vehicles used as either unmarked cop cars or mobile speed camera cars and that resulted in more than a few panic braking episodes from me and some terse conversations from those following. I learned a good lesson that day about who I am comfortable being in front of and visa-versa. Looking forward to doing it all again soon
