Ian picks the coldest place in Queensland at the coldest time of year!
So, tomorrow we head up to the chilly Granite Belt to set up.
Probably in the rain. FFS. Things you do for your mates eh. :unsure:

Yep, couldn't do it without ya maaate.. Paulo and a few others on the way as well. Gonna be a fun weekend I reckon..

Best weekend I have had in ages Marty.. quite a different environment camping in the bush, no facilities other than loos.. pop up marquees etc. for all... but some lovely fires to keep us warm at night.
Track is just 1.1 K.. my laps 42 secs, but other regulars better than that.. lay out allows for all fields to be close and real fun dicing over the 6 lap run.. really just great fun..
I did get Pole for the feature race on Sunday.. (combined bike and rider 95-110 years).. pretty stoked to go from there, if somewhat surprised. Turned out that they had some transponder issues.. Apparently age comes before beauty.. Great to have a crack from there anyway, and some really good dicing in that one.. held 3 of the buggers off for a time..
No pics from me but I am sure others will chip in with some as we did have a good CLQ attendance to camp overnight.. think warm fires and late Port and you will get the idea..;):ROFLMAO:
The Big Chill.. on my list from now on..
