Bimota

That frame is the thing that really made me fall in love with it. It looks so well made and just so "right"
Love the SB2 also, its my second favorite Bimota after the KB1. (I would have an SB2-TT)

Hi
Race bike moving but slow.
Frame and fittings finished
Electricity is 95% complete as far as I can go anyway.
Wheels and brakes done.
Just waiting to finish the engine but now waiting for subbies to finish their work
Soooon I hope

superb Bim Julian, absolutely superb, but not puuuuurfect, the side stand is too short and you with your skills can allow that?
I very much prefer the Moto martin CBX over the Bim.
Always wanted one of those, until I helped Pat Higgs rebuild an engine from a stock CBX, er no thank you, very nice lump but when apart its like a Rolex only more fragile.
CLEM

Hi Clem,
The wood was just for the photos to make is almost vertical, the bike does lean a little when on the stand but it needs quite a bit of weight in order to keep it there as it has a heavy spring to flip it up the moment you release the weight, Don't want it doing that without me holding it :oops:
It would force me to cry :LOL:

Styling wise the HB2 was my favourite Bimota but those 16 inch wheels made it a no go for me. Almost bought a Furano, regret walking away from that one.

I had a Bimota YB10 a few years ago, quite a pretty bike and it went like stink but it was like riding an ironing board, the suspension was rock hard, oh and you have to drop the engine to gain good access to the sparkplugs!
