They were looking for 4-6k for the Eagle - excessive IMO. You can find 750’s privately for that price, which allows for decent inspection and estimate of making road worthy. Looks like the pristine stuff like the Jota is being seen as somewhere to park money. Hopefully this will prove to be poor speculation and the bikes will be available for riders soon.

Worry not. Paul will be along shortly to explain how this proves his assertion that the market has collapsed 😄
Of course. A Jota isn't a market, it's an exception and a British one. The world is big. I can feel all sorts of "Jota" flooding into the UK from all over the place by sellers looking for a quick buck. And they'll find it, be certain.

You can pick up an RGS for less than £6000.

For £23 000 you can find several nice Laverda to ride and have enough left over for a life's supply of Viagra and anti depressants.

At least, a £23 000 Jota will never be seen again, not on the road anyway.

I had a look at it , when at Stafford. I can not be certain , but the front end appeared 'new'? The fork legs were highly polished, all the other alloy cases were not. The chrome work on the front appeared new or re chromed, but for instance the horns were showing rust, the indicator stems were rough. The centre top nut that holds the steering stem had rust appearing. The head lamp chrome retaining cover was in excellent condition. Couldn't see any cracks in the head stock. The friend who was with me reckoned the front wheel colour was different to rear. Will be interesting to see if the person who bought it appears on here.

First thing I'd do if seeing a new front end on a bike would be to check the frame.

Dreams have no price, only a cost.

Paul

That last breath you had Paul has a associated cost, one that you had no choice in accounting for, it was subconsciously made for survival, it’s perceived benefit open to interpretation, acting on a dream however we’ll that’s a conscious decision, one made generally with reckless abandon for the truth or untruth, every decision has a cost, fulfilling a dream is a realisation of that cost, prescribe yourself some edibles, you still have some time left on your side

I've taken out an insurance for my cremation so that's me free.
