I could do with getting hold of Phil Todd I have one of his Boyer ignition kits fitted to my 76 jota and, suspect I have an issue with one of the ignition control units just wondered whether the ICU's were a standard Boyer unit or they were tailor made for the jota .

regards brian

After communicating with Phil through this forum, many years ago, indeed the actual red module were programmed as crank timed units, whereas most all the exact same looking modules from Boyer were cam timed. The Todd items were specials, if that assists. j

yes of course never thought about that

I have been in touch with Phil he confirms that the ICU's were custom made by Boyer , my problem has been the weak resistance on the pick ups on the original stator plate which is now fitted fingers crossed all is well, just like to thank all correspondents for their input.
