Are the best pads for TS1200 EBC FA18 OR sintered FA18HH please.

I think HH is a rating for high speed application, like under racing conditions.
If you plan to ride more steadily maybe the standard ones would suffice.
I used to use the GG type but that was before the HH was developed methinks.
Then again if there is no difference in price I would go for the fast ones.

The HH pads are EBCs double sintered pads. Although EBC claim they are their premium maximum friction product you might find these pads lack the the feel of the EBC organic [OR] pads. For the road I would go for organic, they tend to be less prone to squeal and are probably a bit kinder to the disc. I used the OR pads in my hillclimb days because I liked the way they worked straight from cold and they gave good modulation. I never had issues with stopping from high speed on the organic pads although I'm sure the HH would have been better for repeated high speed applications of the brake.

If I am not mistaken the organic pads are the way to go for no racing applications. They come up to temp quickly and maintain a good feel. The HH pads are much harder and feel wooden until they get up to temp and are designed for racing conditions.

I've watched him ride Grant, trust me no high speed pads needed for him

You might like to look into Brembo they do a very good ceramic pad works far better with standard master cylinder set up than the EBC organic on my 180 jota

I use Ferodo organic pads. Stop much better than the original Brembo pads, don't seem to be aggressive to the discs, work in the wet, don't sqeal, and seem to be wearing well. Recommended to me by Malcolm Tunstall, very successful classic racer in the US, uses them on his ... other brand ... Italian race bikes.

Yep, that way you'll save money twice, and have the added bonus of never getting a speeding fine  :D
