Hi
I have a question.
I have a couple brembo 2 pistons I think they're called P 08 or 09 gold colerd, was sitting on the original type sfc, bimota DB1 etc etc.
As I understand, there is little variation in the size of pads to them.
Found some different pads in the garage, all fit but friction surface differed a lot.
Scanning the height varb from about 37-39mm.
So my question is if anyone knows a brand of 40-42mm and fits

Po8 and Po9 calipers are different in size, both back plate and friction area.
I have plenty of pads for the 9's and may have a few Dunlop ones left for the 8's

then there is the tidlers for the 500 Lavs etc these are even smaller and are p5

goldline was avialable in both 8 and 9, we are talking about two piston oposed calipers arent we, not the more modern four piston type? Black ones are sometimes faked up as gold line, easy to tell the difference because if the body has a ridge for atatching the plastic pad cover, then  it aint a goldline,no matter what colour it is painted, that was for racing and did not have this ridge on both halves of the caliper.
a picture would help

Johan,

Normal 08 "Goldline" calipers have the same pads as the cooking P08s.  The predecessor racing caliper was a shaved and slimmed P08 and required thinner pads.  These (black) calipers are often found on early Ducati SS bevels, means they're worth a fortune! :D

Hi
now I've Googled around, and yes it's  "regular" gold line that I have.
But the question still stand on the friction surface,
I wonder if anyone out there know what brand that has them "biggest" pads.
I mean it seems a little inflation on the size, like when a ice cream comany launched an ice cream ,big at the beginning, and then as the years go shrink precariously.
I think that this pads was 40mm high in the beginning and not down to 35-37mm, which means many% lost-
