For use on Cerianis longer countered bolts can be used or

Just to correct you, Ernesto, it's not possible to interchange calipers between Ceri and Marzo because the lugs on the forks are in different positions. The lug on a Ceri fork leg is where the holed lugs on Marzo 08s are (and vice versa) ... hard to describe, but definitely not possible - unless you make adapters and even these would be complex and rather ugly.

Yes, you're right about that. On Cerianis the lugs are outside of the calipers,
so the calipers need the threads (btw, on beemers from the 80s, too)
On Marzos the lugs are on the inside of the calpers, so the lugs need the threads.

I don't agree with you on that. The only difference between calipers for
Cerianis and Marzos is threaded or unthreaded.
We've done this before. Had to borrow a Marzo caliper once while on tour as
one of mine (on a Ceriani) started leaking. Longer bolts,, countered, and that
was it.

I was wrong ... and I was right ... we have had this discussion before and although it's true that the the lugs can align (my error), IIRC the faces on the inside of the Brembo lugs aren't machined to be perfectly aligned and parallel. Carry on pussy cats!!

Just fitted single bleed, no thread in mount holes, calipers to my Ceriani forks. Needed shims to properly align them with the rotors and different thickness to each side.
