Broken counter sprocket case

The clutch is hydrolic not cable . It went to Scotland and returned untouched
Something with customs issues .
If worse comes to worse a cable will be my course of action

I have been pleased with the very neat hydraulic clutch conversion Keith carried out on my 79 Jota. Bear in mind though, that you will lose your original lever and get something that will not match the brake...in my case the black lever works ok as I had a black brake lever anyway. Also, the lever supplied by Keith which I think is from a Ducati monster, does not come with a mirror mount...kind of annoying. I had a thread put in locally into the hollow mount pin, which seems to work...more expense though, and a skilled job as the mirror stem had to be turned down. But the clutch action is lovely, no doubt about it, and no external evidence on the cover.

You can buy things like this to mount mirrors to.

What the hell happened to that?
Early GT or 650, 750S or American Eagle?

My own early GT, #1506. The crack is clearly due to the cable lever pivot (view is better from the inside).
New cable cover now in place.

The clamps with a mirror mount are available cheaply as direct brembo replacements, no skill required!
