BSA saves the day

After balancing the carbs on the 120 Jota it came to replacing the tank. Ohh bugger, only one tank rubber buffer on the frame, couldn't find the missing one any where. Hmm, what can we do, gotta get it back on the road. Looking around for a suitable bodge I realised that the rubber kickstart on one of my Beezers looks to be about the right size, so I whipped it off and cut a piece off the end, bingo, correct size. BSA saved the day. I quess Triumph kickstart rubbers are the same sze too.
Not sure if Laverda buffers are available still, will have to check. I know the old BSA and Triumph parts are still easily available.

🤔 If you find a chewed up bit of black rubber while mowing the grass you can blame the dog…..
