BT46 on Breganze 750 track bikes

Working on a house conversion, back in the hot Summer (40° C+) of '22, the tyre on one of our wheelbarrows was shredded. We blamed foxes.
I replaced the tyre and tube.
The following day I was out front, unloading a delivery, when I heard a loud bang. People started coming out of the houses to see what had happened. My workmate appeared, white-faced.
He'd been digging a footing, when the new tyre blew out in the sunshine, about two metres behind him.
He'd nearly filled the hole.
Another new tyre and tube was fitted and the barrows were stored on the shaded side of the s(h)ite.

Getting back to the thread topic, the new tyres and wheels are now back in the bike. However, still lots left to do to satisfy the new scrutineering requirements…
And still waiting on news regarding the delivery of the new rear tyre for the Formula.🤬

Well a mixed day today. I'm managed to complete three steady laps in the first qualifying session on the 840 - so that's good progress over the last two years. No particular issue with the tyres, but I couldn't say I was pushing them through any of the bends. I'll need to get a bit more of a move on tomorrow if I want to qualify for the race, but as I was also keeping the revs down to make sure I completed the session then I should be able to knock quite a bit off my lap times tomorrow.
As for the rear tyre for the Formula, that didn't arrive until after I had left for the circuit so that wasn't much use. As there isn't a lot of time in the morning before I am due back down at Castletown, then, reluctantly, I'm just going to forgo the chance to race the bike at the event at least for this year.
