BTZ rectifier/regulator

Looking at the wiring diagram, the rectifier has :
A ground connection (green wire)
Inputs from the alternator (yellow and yellow/black wire)
Power output (white wire)
Power out to the ignition warning light (red/blue wire)
Another output to brake lights/flasher relay etc (black wires)

Question, is the black wire connection a positive connection or a negative connection?

It's live 12v - positive, fed via 8A fuse in the fusebox
