Under the gauge/main switch mount bracket, around the neck, under the right side tank mount, over the frame backbone, over the left side carburetor to the outside, under all three carburetors between the air box and the engine.

Under the gauge/main switch mount bracket, around the neck, under the right side tank mount, over between the upper and lower tubes of the frame backbone, over the left side carburetor to the outside, under all three carburetors between the air box and the engine.

Ask two people and you'll get two different answers. Probably depends on the length of the cable.

Correction ? mine is also routed as Dellortoman states. ?between the upper and lower tubes?.

Always try to keep the cable as straight as possible is how I was shown, long curves rather than tight turns be it clutch,brake or throttle.
