Hello all, has anyone got a Ceriani shock hydraulic cylinder that works. I took mine apart for overhaul and found on eo of them has no function in compression or rebound. The piston rod has worn through the chrome, the seals bush etc all buggered  - UK please

Alternatively I will buy a pair of replacements if you have them

Thanks Paul, very helpful. I have found alternatives but I wanted to retain as much originality as possible. The bike came via Giovanni Laverda but it has been messed with over the years

I have found one image of the seat that was on it, I think it is by Menani of Milan, they provided the clip ons for some of the F500 Monty bikes, I recently let a pal of mine have my set. The seat is also buggered but I have been repairing it. I have a Rickman CR Honda that I had a spare seat for, I tried that on it and it looks really well

I re-fitted the swing arm with needle rollers yesterday and spotted a bolt running right through the pipe, no clamp just a bolt through the middle. It has some home made rear sets fitted made from aluminium square bar so they are going, clip ons are fitted and somebody mounted the choke lever on the frame tube just inside the left hand side panel. The engine covers have been painted with wrinkle finish black paint, god knows what I will find in the engine and front end

The plan was just to get it running and move it on, I should have bought a disc brake model for racing but got this drum brake model, I already race a Monty but wanted to go up to F2 class

Thanks again for you help

I have a pair left.
They need complete reconditioning. Chrome on rod and springs, paint.

I'd like ?60 for the pair plus postage probably around ?20.

I could sell you just one, but it won't make much of a difference with the postage.

Paul

Hello Paul, are you saying that the chrome on the damper rods has gone, I already one like that, I am not worried about the springs, mine are spotless so I can use those. As long as I have one that has damping in compression and rebound, this might work. I have a vapour blasting business so I can take the bodies back to bare metal so that is not a problem for me, maybe a picture of the rods would help

Hi Paul, if you want to PM me with how you want paying and maybe an image of the damping rods, I can get thinsg moving. I have a currency account for my business so I can pay Euros directly to wherever you want
