We've just sold our 3CL to a bloke in WA.

Brooke has never owned or ridden a Laverda, so thought I would ask if there are owners/members in WA that I can link him in with.

The bike itself was sold new in WA, so it's going home. Bear, and maybe others, will know it as Mark's McPhee's old race bike.

Would you mind PMing me, SMS, with your phone numbers and I'll pass them on to him. Brooke lives in Dudley Park.

I don't have phone numbers, but you could try:
Pete (forum member 2volts) somewhere in Perth
Rob Berryman in Walpole (forum member motoddrob) - about 4 hours ride from Dudley Park.
There's also ex-forum member Davo somewhere in Perth. Since he left the forum, it's no longer possible to PM him, but he's a GP so you could probably find him by googling Dr David Pearson.

There's probably a bunch of others, but those are just a few who come to mind.
 
There is a email list of about a dozen lav owners that on rare occasions an email arrives in my inbox.
Greg, you mentioned Bear, sadly he passed away a couple of years ago.
There are quite a few Lavs in WA and most aren't involved with the forum and we have very little contact between us.
He is more than welcome to contact me, robberyman at hotmail should he want any help/info.

Did you say Bear passed away is that Peter that sold his 3CL to Victoria?????

Only met Bear twice and only know him as Bear. Thought he had a jota but I could be mistaken. Sold it but didn't know where to.
 
If its the Bear I am thinking of his name was Peter and was in the Laverda scene in WA since the early 1980s he sold all his stuff off a couple of years ago to pay for some medical treatment, Dave Pearson helped out.
I met him in 1980 when I did a lap of Aus on my 77 Jota I needed to service my bike in Perth and by accident he met me in a shop and took me to his place where we partied and tuned my old Laverda then went riding for a week or so down the coast towards Margaret River.
