Cam layout

I have a 750 sf and have put the cams back in the head, before i put the rocker arms in, which cam is which ? i mean on each side of the head is the outer cam the inlet and the inner cam the exhaust or is it the other way round.
Just want to make sure before i put them in the wrong way round. Thanks

You can't put them in "the wrong way round"
The cam with the revcounter drive goes into the left half of the head.

Figured it out now. Left side is outer cam exhaust, inner cam inlet. Right side outer cam inlet inner cam exhaust. I though I had assembled the rocker arms wrong , then realised that all the rocker arms are the same so you can't put it in the wrong way round.

I'm no engine builder, but I'm assuming that each rocker arm wears to each cam lobe a certain way and has to be re-assembled in the same pattern (which you probably did). I used assembly lube on each before I started mine after a top end rebuild.

Most important is to be absolutely sure oil can get to the rocker spindles, which feed oil to the cam lobes. Been covered here several times.
