Camshafts C/7

I have a set that I would sell, but they come in a package with 36mm Dellortos and 180 type manifolds, and two complete exhausts (3:1) both exhausts are black and dinged about a fair bit, (no real value in the exhausts) cams and sprockets in great condition, carbs as well.
Price 1700 GBP plus shipping

Hello,
thanks, but I only need the cam axles and maybe a black 3 in 1 exhaust. the price must be affordable. No full package.

7C cams are useless without a good three into one exhaust and 36mm carbs, and still useless if you try to use them on a public road,
Alberto wants lots of dosh for his stuff, so why not ask lots of dosh when he wants to buy, what goes around comes around.

Hi Clem, thanks anyway for your feedback on me. I am Italian, unfortunately I do not know English, I always have to rely on the automatic translator and sometimes I can misunderstand a comment, but I want to make a clarification; forgive me, at my age I am used to expressing a concept when I am sure I am saying concrete things, with balance, with experience, with seriousness and above all with the utmost respect for everyone, without wasting time on trivial things. This concept of mine is also valid when I sell a spare part, first evaluating its quality, comparing it with other sellers and finally the price. Many greetings
Alberto

Alberto,
if you always regard me as going mad and not able to be measured on any scale, then we will both be fine, I am me, and no one else
I hope you get your cams, anyone who is SERIOUSLY looking for them must have an interesting bike to fit them to, I wonder where your 7C cams will go?

My 79 Jota had C7 cams in it when I bought it. Fucken horrid things around town, and when getting the most out of them on the open road only promotes licence loss.
Hi Chrisk. In 1992 I had a special 1200 (pistons diameter 82 - 1172 c.c.) with C7 camshafts, dellorto 40 carburettors, various modifications inside the engine that I don't want to reveal here, 3 in 1 exhaust completely open ... has never bothered, in the city or even on the highway, very fluid and always powerful behavior. I'm not sure, but I think it all depends on which workshop and which Laverda expert the bike is being prepared for.

Hi Alberto

I'm curious as to why you want to keep your engine modifications secret. It's not as if Laverdas are the cutting edge of engine design technology, unless you've installed warp drive or a time travel feature.

Most people on this forum are happy to share their ideas and crazy modifications. I doubt that your engine could be any more radical than Julian's completely re-designed 750 twin. Check out his thread on building a race bike https://www.laverdaforum.com/xf/threads/94167/

It just occurred to me that you might have another reason for keeping quiet about it. Perhaps you have something that you don't want the authorities to find out about, like an engine driven machine gun. :)

Cheers,
Cam
