Carb Balancing

As I said I never rode a 3Cly Breganzie or encountered a Link Shaft except for a Yamaha 550 "TWIN" with BS 34 Mikuni's CSV's - Which I wanted to mount onto my 70 750 SF but never did - Still got them carbs if anyone is interested - Super Clean ;o)

$100 CDN + Shipping for the pair considering no cost for the items save for my principle of saving them throughout the years. I say they will work on a Breganzie 750SF - Take a chance and let me know if they do ;o)

Considering they are 34mm carbs, with minor jetting, bar space distance and throttle linkage mods, I'm sure them 34 Mikuni CSV's will allow for Velocity Cones and Air Filters on Pre-73 Breganzie 750 SF's ?

Yah! They are Intake Manifold Rubber Diafram Pressurized controlled throttle sliders something like the old SU Oil plunger Carbs but what the Hell - I loved SU Carbs in my Volvo's ;o)

These Carbs meter fuel from the intake manifold pressure and eliminate some internal carburetor mechanisms Vs a Manual Carb like the VHB 30A which only works Open Mouth with NO Air filter and very fussy about 2 into 1 headers.

Andy, I swear these carbs will work great on the Breganzie 750 SF ; however, one has to figure out a way to mount them !

Plus I will supply the Yamaha CDI Yamaha Ignition in the deal - $100 CDN + shipping ;o)

Andy I got your interest providing you have an SF.

Jim I never owned a Breganzie Triple; however, I did own a 84 Suzuki 1100 GSX 1100S Katana for one summer and let her go because she would surely kill me not saying a Breganzie SF tried her best. I was 5'11" @ 138 lbs back then.

Now I am a 73 years old about 5'10" at about 170 lbs and don't own a Motorcycle. Time to quit - Tell me ?

Compare an 8000 rpm 3 Cly Breganzie 1000 Vs a 4 Cly 10,000 rpm Suzuki back then.

No wonder the Breganzie factory went under.

Not saying, if your stubborn enough to win a race a with a Breganzie today.

I totally loved my Bregazie 750 SF0 although she tried to kill me when ever I mounted her ;o(

Not a tricky job, Ron. Space the carbs to match the inlets of the SF head, modify (extend or reduce0 the shaft that opens the butterflies, Bob's yorunkel

Same concept on the FCRs going on the SFQ and bike #2.

piranha-bro2 - No butterflies on these 34mm CVS Mukini vacuum carbs - Strictly Vacuum slide throttle.

Got your interest ?

I could do 7800rpm with with my 70 Breganzie open mouth mechanical Delortto VBH 30A's = Very dirty, but imagine doing the same with Air Filters using Mukini 34 VHS vacuum carbs would be sweet.

I really don't know how you service your carbs but I say this carb has potential - Let me know for $100 + shipping if it works.

I did not have the chance the do it. Should have though ?

Every CV carb on any bike I've worked on that had them .... had butterflies - something attached to the right hand of the rider. I know how the bloody things work, just trying to fathom one without a butterfly valve!!

Who’d have though my question on carbs would morf into chaos theory.
Never did like the “rods down the throat” technique, bought some dials few years ago what a difference.
Thanks for interest, just going to fill my watch with 20/50 butter to see it will charge the battery

Just dived deep into my closet and check them 34 Mikuni SV's - Yes they have Throttle butterflies - Man I'm getting senile ;o(
