Carb sleeve

I had one come out once after soaking the carb in a parts washer overnight, don't know what the liquid was as it wasn't my parts washer. It was a bit before Ultrasonics were common and that soaking was an attempt at clearing blocked passageways. The sleave just slipped out by itself. That's a sample size of one so no idea it's typical.

I can usually get them out after putting them through the ultrasonic cleaner temperature about 38c. Then quickly spray the the plastic sleeve with a freezing agent spray, loctite make a good one.
They then slip out usually ok as long as some one hasn't glued them in .

Thanks. That freezing spray is an excellent idea. I happen to have some to hand.
