Cars and bikes I’ve come across in my travels

I didn't have the cajones even fifty years ago to throw a leg over that "beast" (as the kids/hipsters/newbies would say)
and survive down the 405. Evel Knievel jumping his American Eagle had nothing on this guy.

No pics , but heading towards me this afternoon , a veritable vision in a blur of orange and silver was ............ an Aprilia Moto 6.5 ............

I don`t what surprised me more ..... the fact I`d actually seen one on the road , or that someone had actually parted with money to buy one ....... although I guess they`re cheap enough now , if you dare to be different .

Pencilled by some bloke who designs kettles and kitchen chairs , Godins here in the UK had one of these Rotax -engined Pegaso in disguise plodders gathering dust for months .........

The usual trick of lending showroom stiffs like this to Classic Bike magazine for them to " test " , in an attempt to generate some interest may or may not have worked ........

Perhaps this was the one I spotted earlier today ........

I was lent one for 3 days a few years back. I found that it lacked oomph
No doubt difficult to work on, but the styling is lovely.

Just a quite normal bike (Pegaso?) underneath. I quite liked the styling and was rather surprised it failed so badly. But then, I'm a sucker for the unusual. Imho it beats most of todays stuff that mostly looks like it fell off the back of a truck en route to the dealer.

"Modern" carburetted short-stroke singles are all a bit weak-chested, fuel injection makes up for a bit. These still lack flywheel though and thrive on revs.
