Cars and bikes I’ve come across in my travels

Yep, looks like an MGTC. Not that there's a lot of difference between TA to TF models. Mainly just subtle body changes. It's a pretty little car and looks great in British Racing Green. I had a mate who used to own one, and he let me drive it once. But it wasn't a pleasant thing to drive. Harsh suspension, lousy handling, poor brakes and imprecise steering. Also, the steering wheel is so close to your rib cage that your elbows stick out, but there's no elbow room. There's a good chance of bashing your elbow on the driver's door or the passenger's face. The pedals were also too close, so you have to spread your knees around the massively large steering wheel. It might have been OK of you could slide the seat back about 200mm, but that didn't appear to be an option. The guy who owned it was a little bloke of about 5'5" (165cm) and he fitted in quite well. So maybe he bolted the seat permanently in that position. I understand that it's a thing of its time, but other cars of that era didn't suffer from such cramped ergonomics.

Not sure if we are supposed to add to this thread, apologies to Alzero if not, but saw this car a couple months ago. Presume it is some sort of kit car.
I did a search of the registration and it comes up as a 1995 Mazda ute:LOL: Now of course that could be an error but looking at the all terrain tyres perhaps it is a Mazda chassis???

Being QLD rego they register the vehicle according to the chassis that is used so is probably a Mazda ute
My Chev truck for example is registered as a HJ Ute as that is the chassis it has been built on

Last one from the airport show, at first I thought this was a version of the Chevy Nomad two door station wagon. But now, looking at the pictures it seems to have four doors and the rear ones have the hinges at the back, suicide-style.

Maxene's Vette and my Chevy truck
Often thought of shipping the Vette back to the USA and doing a tour in her, being right hand drive conversion Americans would be totally amazed
Only a dream now, too old to fit into the dam thing these days

Many moons ago (during High School) I had a Triumph Spitfire (nick-named Spit-wad; hey it was high school) that I buzzed around in. Now I might be able to get a leg in, and if I COULD get in one now, I would have to call the rescue squad to cut me out.
One of my careers was selling Reverse Osmosis water purification equipment for car washes and car dealers. For over a year I "courted" Andretti Enterprises (Mario Andretti) I finally signed them as a dealer. Andretti was a distributor for Hanna car wash systems. The General manager, Jon Thorman, was showing me around one of their warehouses which contained several old race cars. And Jon pointed to a car and said "Go ahead and get in it." I told Jon that I needed one for each foot. I didn't try one on; not my size.

A friends' Spitfire was nicknamed Shitfire... spent more time on the lift than on its wheels.
