Ceriani top and bottom triple clamps

Looking for 38mm ceriani triple clamps for my SF2.  I have a set of marzocci clamps to swap, they came from a 76 jota.  I was going to use them on the twin, but would prefer ceriani. I have a set of 35mm ceriani as well to swap.

Thanks

Marty

Alternatively I bolt the 35 mm front end on. Is there any major drawbacks ?

I've had a 35mm front end on my SF2 for 30 years. No major drawback. You get the impression that you can feel the fork tubes bending under very hard braking 2 up, otherwise, nothing.

Handling is a lot more neutral with the Marzo 'parallel' clamps, Marty. I used 45mm offset parallel Marzos on my SF and they felt great. First disc conversion i just fitted 35mm disc sliders to my 35mm drum assembly - never had any reason to doubt their strength - but if it were me, it'd be the Jota clamps and 38s every time.

Your a big unit Marty with a lot of leverage, there would be more flex with you attached. But plenty have the 35mm for years.

There are so many variations in triple clamps with their different offsets and angled pins that it?s important to know what you had and what you can expect with a different set.

They'll be totally fine, Marty. 45mm offset is perfect. Also, the SF is heaps more forgiving than a triple - the forks are about 100mm shorter, so way more rigid. If you fit them and find fault I'll be very surprised.
