Not too bad a result.
I thought I'd try to finish the job off with the DID tool. Put it in place and discovered that I still had some muscle, the bloody tool exploded sending my forehead banging into the bike.
It'll have to do for the moment.
A friend who prepares race bikes has an appropriate tool only rather wouldn't lend it. He'll be running the machine in for me anyhow since he works at the local track, so when I finish the machine and bring it to him on a trailer, he'll finish the job off properly.
Ouch!
