That looks more like a Ballast resister and why would you need one on a Breganzie ?

thats a coil from the old ignition plates (Alternator).

I am having two coils re-wound at the moment , I only require one as I have got a new one from Uwe.
You could have a renovated one for cost plus post.

Nope. Wrong coil. It's one of the redundant coils that normally gets chucked away when upgrading the ignition.
The seller is pretty optimistic in thinking it's worth something.
I hope nobody is misled into buying it as an alternator coil.

Thanks but I’ve got one from Keith at scozia and all on and now running,woohoo and charging ,just got idling problem now
