might reflect todays dropping value trend? but look with your eyes its only a starting bid, so anything could happen, a good starting point as well if you ask me, and same goes to Manxmog, open your peepers it says raced in '75 and registered in '76, not unusual, some bikes were even sold and purporting to be "NEW" after having done a years racing, not mentioning any dealers name. location or even nationality.

I have you UFB, the frame and engine numbers are from a 76 bike, and Slaters didn’t start entering the Avon Series with the ‘Jota’ until 76. However, I acknowledge others were racing triples prior to then, but AFAIK, they were 3C/3CEs. I’m also well aware of the practise of racing a bike and then later registering and selling it as a road bike.
However, I also agree with Pat, that at £3k who’s going to worry too much about the facts...
 
At nearly £4.5k already. What's the real value and would I be better looking at a running 3C or early RGS? Don't mind spannering, just wary that it's been stood so long and not started in 26 years.

Or an RGA it should've said. Just always wanted a Jota and it's kinda now or never time but they're still expensive.
