Cheap RGS on ebay

Quite, though it's important to keep a few shiny ones, even if they don't run properly for bike shows and other social events.
That machine would cost 5 times its selling price to get it good and sell for no more than £8000, and even then, without being in a hurry. And as a spares bike, it will be difficult to recoup the buying price and the buyer will be left with plenty of unwanted parts to scrap.

Those of us who have done up ratty RGSs know what it costs. I’m with Ian and Paul.

Who knows. Lots of possibilities. Maybe someone had a spill and, by buying this one, could get theirs back on the road?

Looks like it did meet the hands of a breaker. Lots of RGS parts now appearing on eBay. Should help a few owners on the look out for spares.
The instruments show the same odometer reading.
