Hi I am finally putting the finishing touches to my 2TR/Chott hybrid (2TR with Chott tank, seat, instruments, lights and mag front hub) and there are a couple of things I need to sort:
Can Clem,or any other experts on this bike, remind me of the rear chain size spec - pitch etc?
Also, I have mislaid the puller to remove the rotor to get at the electrics - does anyone know the thread size?
Cheers

thanks Simon but I am not a Chott expert, I know I dabbled and fiddled, but I sold all my ex Slater parts a long time ago to Simon Elliot in Washington Sussex, and my last Chott, somewhat regretting that, but hey ho it was right at the time, I don't have a factory puller, but I have loads of metric pullers and don't remember getting stumped when this was needed is it a male or female thread on the rotor, an approx measurement of dia would probably be near enough for a check to be made, (suggest vernier) you are always welcome to come and visit and try, but a rough check is advisable in advance because I have kids and kids have nasty habbits of not doing as I ask!

ps the youngest is 39!

Hi Clem I will try to check diameter as suggested. Last time I visited your Aladdins cave it was still full of 2TR/Chott bits so guess that gives an idea of how long my bike has been work in progress! I now have the NOVA sorted so I shall be pestering you/ILOC at some stage for an up to date dating certificate to get it put on DVLA.

Drive chain is #520, number of links dependant on gearing ratio.

Puller will be same as for any Kreidler or Zündapp of the 70's and 80's. Sorry, can't help with thread size, sure to be something stupid...
