Saw this Cico Style seat on a Jota at Newlands Corner, this morning.
Even the Italians can't get it right every time.

Yeah, there has to be a better alternative guard available to negate the need to destroy the original guard - plastic from a donor bike or fibreglass aftermarket.And another rear guard consigned to the scrap bin

I bought a new stainless one off an italian guy on ebay who makes copies of Laverda mudguards, it was around £200 all up but i was happy with the quality of it. I then used my original as a template for all the holes etc and then shortened/modified the copy to suit. My nice original is safely stored away in case i ever want to put it back to its original setup

Just a bit of an update.
Spoke to Bruce today and he told me he had sourced Cico parts from Alberto at Ilovelaverdaspareparts in Italy.
He is now trying to organise freight for a 28kg box - If anyone has ideas he would be grateful as he is getting varying responses and prices.
Also, he had a bit of a muck up with his funds transfer and is now trying to finalise deal with Alberto but he hasn't responded to emails lately. He presumes he is away, can anyone confirm?
(Bruce still having trouble getting on the forum so thanks for any assistance)
