Does anyone have any information about this event, I.e. is it worth attending/will any Laverdas be on display/out on the circuit?

You'd need to ask the Laverda Club de France or the Laverdamania people. I would be very surprised if there was any organised Laverda presence but there will no doubt be some machines out there.

That wouldn't be the case now I imagine.
The first time I went around the banked oval in Monthléry, must have been 1994, I was in jeans as well in a very small group including a few ex works machines and works riders. The sign with the left hand indicates that I'm scared stupid. The beginning of the Coupes Moto Légende.

I didn't nail anybody until a few years later when I overtook a 250 MZ with a top box at Carole.
That Kawa was no doubt an endurance machine.
There was also the Benelli Motobécane Moch in our group.
There was a KTT Velocette way up the banking, I was way down.

Early days, you'll notice the rear view mirror and the number plate on the SFC, not just the jeans.

sorry but I don't like that exhaust system at all, looks a proper mess, if you ask me, as does the HT leads, wiring, cables brackets, pipes, hoses and almost everything in view.
